StoryThe story focus' around a 17 year old orphan boy named Vaan. His elder brother, Recs, was a soldier, who died after coming back from a battle with severe wounds. Vaughn is a pickpocket, with dreams of becoming a pirate and flying away in an airship.One day, Vaan sneaks into to the castle to swipe a valuable object, but ends up being caught by a true pirate. Not long after, the castle is attacked, and Vaan's adventure begins. |

Combat
The combat system for Final Fantasy 12 is a bit different then most of the other games. It is not turn based, but it also isn't free action either. You select the move that you wish to use, then your character must wait a certain amount of time for the action bar to fill. Once the action bar is filled, the character executes whatever action has been chosen. "Attack" is the default action set to all characters, but actions can be programmed and customized to fit ones playing style.
